Calke Abbey

Recently my Husband and I enjoyed a child free day in the sun,all be it between school hours.

We visited Calke Abbey in Derbyshire , its a National Trust property of which we are members.

It was a lovely day and we even enjoyed an obligatory cream tea -nom!

There was so much more to see and do,we didn’t make it inside the house this time but we will definitely be making a return trip with the girls.

  1. Gorgeous photos. Looks like a lovely place to visit. We were NT members before we left the UK and moved to a country with absolutely no old buildings anywhere! I shouldn’t complain but I do miss historic places like this #PoCoLo

  2. What a beautiful post of photos, I particularly loved the waterfall and the eye-catching colour of the plant pots on the blue shelves. Thank you for being this weeks newbie showcase and linking to PoCoLo – and for having me host FBLove next week xx

Comments make me smile-Thank you!
