Rufford Old Hall

We are members of  The National Trust ,we really enjoy visiting their properties and they run 50 things to do before your 11 and 3/4 which the Children enjoy taking part in.

On Wednesday we visited Rufford Old Hall which is a property in Lancashire not far from my parents house.

It’s an impressive building with some lovely Gardens.

Photo’s are not permitted inside apart from in the Great Hall so I didn’t get many snaps. Some National Trust properties don’t mind you taking photographs but I always ask first.

The volunteers were all in fancy dress as it was Halloween and we saw a Bat (yes a real one!) flapping round the Great Hall which was great -and a bit spooky!

There are lots of rooms to explore and there was a Fur and Feathers quiz to take part in as you walked around that my youngest took part in.
